The Weave Academy was founded by Tomeka Taylor. Tomeka is a licensed Cosmetologist and Instructor. Tomeka has mastered many different weaving techniques, giving her the knowledge to teach others how to “WEAVE THE CORRECT WAY”. She specializes in non-surgical hair replacement, which often requires, advanced weaving techniques.  The techniques she will teach you at The Weave Academy will make you a much better and more confident weave technician, or wig designer, it will help you either start your business or grow your business.

The Weave Academy was designed to help beginners and the more advanced learn how to master the craft of weaving.

If you are a beginner, you will learn the basics of weaving all the way to the more advanced techniques. As a beginner, you are required to take the beginner course, which teaches basic principles of weaving, such as braid patterns, measurements, bases, caps, tools, etc.

If you are already weaving, but want to learn more about your craft, or a new technique, feel free to choose the class you want to learn more about.

All classes are one-on-one, hands-on. A certificate of completion will be given after the class is completed and I will also be available to help you if you have any questions. A list of supplies needed is listed with each of the classes.

No professional licenses are required for any of the classes.

The Weave Academy is the “Class after School”
